This Is an Appointment-Only Library

The Olson Family Library is free and open to the whole community — but because our main branch fills up quickly, every visit to Ghubrah Beach starts with a booking. It takes less than a minute through our online calendar, and it means we can have a seat, a workspace, or any assistance you've requested ready before you arrive.

How Booking Works

Choose a time

Pick any available slot on our online calendar — mornings, afternoons or weekends.

Confirm your details

Add your name and the number of guests joining you, then confirm your booking.

Arrive and check in

Come by Ghubrah Beach at your booked time and let our helpdesk know you've arrived.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a cost to visit?
No — The Olson Family Library is completely free to visit. Booking simply reserves your place for the day and time you choose.
Do I need to book for the satellite libraries too?
No. Our satellite libraries — the Dolphin Residences Mini Library, Classic Music Institute Library, American Dental Centre, and Super Hearing and Speech Center — are appointment-free and open to walk-ins.
What if I need to reschedule?
Open the confirmation email from your booking and use the reschedule or cancel link, or reach our helpdesk at olsonfamilylibrary@lmalibraries.org.
I'll need special assistance during my visit — who do I tell?
Let us know when you book, or contact our CareServices team in advance through the Special Assistance Services page, and we'll have everything ready for you.
